Salah Eddin castle history goes to 1300 BC; the Phoenician period. Byzantines occupied the castle in 975 and built defense locations. Crusaders occupied the castle in 1100 and built defense towers. Salah Eddin Al Ayoubi in 1188 and built a mosque, bathroom and a school.
